Myles MacInnes, known professionally as Mylo, is a Scottish electronic musician and record producer associated with disco house and filter house. He is best known for the 2005 single “Doctor Pressure,” a mashup that combines his own track “Drop the Pressure” with Miami Sound Machine’s 1984 song “Dr. Beat.” The single reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart and became the release most closely identified with his name.

MacInnes is from Broadford in the United Kingdom. In addition to the Mylo moniker, he has also been credited under variations including Myles MacInnes, Milo, and Mylo Nguyen.

In 2004, Mylo released the album Destroy Rock & Roll, which peaked at number 26 on the UK Albums Chart. The following year, “Doctor Pressure” brought wider chart success, linking his work to a prominent pop reference point through its use of “Dr. Beat” while drawing directly on his own earlier material. Alongside his recording work, he has been described as a DJ and producer, and he is a co-owner of Breastfed Recordings.
