Pional

Miguel Barros, known professionally as Pional, is a Spanish electronic musician, producer, and remixer from Madrid. Working under the Pional name, he is associated with a strand of club-oriented electronic music that spans balearic, electronica, microhouse, minimal techno, and related Spanish electronic styles. He has also used aliases including P and Alt Fenster.

Pional’s solo career under the Pional name began in 2010. That year he released his first EP, A Moot Point, issued by the label Hivern Discs. The release marked the start of his recorded output as a solo artist and established Pional as an active figure within contemporary electronic production and remix culture.

In addition to his work as Pional, Barros has been credited under variations of his name, including Miguel Barros, reflecting the different ways his work has appeared across releases and credits. His catalog has circulated through electronic-focused labels, including Turbo Recordings and Atresmúsica, alongside the Hivern Discs debut that introduced the Pional project.
