Petit Biscuit
Mehdi Benjelloun, known as Petit Biscuit, is a French-Moroccan DJ and producer from Rouen, France. Born on 10 November 1999, he works between electronic production and acoustic instrumentation, drawing on backgrounds in both electronica and classical music.
Petit Biscuit's music combines electronic textures with acoustic elements and manipulated vocals. His work moves through electronic, house, chillout and French-touch influences, while retaining an interest in melodic arrangements and instrumental detail. He has described his music as a call to travel, human reflection, and natural, sensual things.
Under the Petit Biscuit name, Benjelloun has released music through Écurie, Palm Tree Records, and the joint Écurie & Surf Mesa imprint. He is also known as Petit Biscuit Music and by his own name, Mehdi Benjelloun.
