Joshua Pan, known professionally as josh pan, is an American singer-songwriter, producer, artist, and designer whose work moves between electronic music, hip-hop, and alternative R&B. Born in 1989 and from New York, he developed a profile in the underground bass world through an experimental approach to production and collaborations with artists including Skrillex, Dylan Brady, and Joji.

Pan’s music has also encompassed ambient and instrumental hip-hop elements, alongside more overtly electronic and experimental hip-hop work. His collaborations have placed him in contact with both bass-focused electronic music and the wider alternative pop and rap circles around his collaborators.

He has been affiliated with OWSLA and 88rising, the latter reflecting his connection to a label and collective known for crossing rap, pop, R&B, and electronic production. Alongside his recording work, Pan is active as a visual artist and designer, making his practice broader than songwriting and production alone.
