Herbert

Matthew Herbert, known professionally as Herbert, is a British electronic musician born in 1972. His work often builds electronic music from sounds made by everyday objects, an approach that runs through a catalogue spanning house, downtempo, jazz house and electroacoustic music.

He has also released music under several aliases, including Doctor Rockit, Radio Boy, Mr. Vertigo, Transformer, Wishmountain and DJ Empty. Originally from Kent, Herbert has worked through labels including Accidental Records, Accidental Jnr and Strut.
