Fouk
Fouk is a Dutch electronic music duo whose work sits in and around deep house, deep soul house, float house, and nu-disco. The group is made up of Daniel Leseman and Hans Peeman, and is based in the province of Zeeland in the Netherlands.
As a production partnership, Fouk has released music through a range of house-focused imprints, including Heist Recordings, Freerange Records, Boogie Angst, Foliage Records, and Soulfuric Recordings. Their output is typically framed within house music’s groove-led tradition, drawing on the warmer ends of the genre spectrum associated with deep and soul-inflected styles, while also touching on the lighter, disco-adjacent side suggested by their nu-disco classification.
In addition to releasing recorded material, the duo runs OUTPLAY.
