Emmit Fenn
Raised in Berkeley, California, Emmit Fenn is a singer, songwriter, and producer known for creating unique, cinematic soundscapes in the indie electronica genre. At the age of 12, Fenn started playing piano and composing music as a distraction when his parents divorced. He later learned guitar and violin and pursued studies in composition and music theory.
While in college, his single "Painting Greys," released in 2015, became an online sensation, garnering millions of streams. Fenn decided to leave school and signed with TH3RD BRAIN Records, which released another downtempo streaming success, "Blinded," in 2016. In 2017, he followed up with "Modern Flame," featuring Yuna, as he prepared his debut EP, Prologue.
Fenn has released several EPs with TH3RD BRAIN, such as "Eclipse" (launched on the day of a solar eclipse) on August 21st, 2017, "Before We Begin" in 2018, "The Last Dance" in 2019, and "Until We Meet Again" in 2020. In 2020, Fenn also released singles "BuDuDuDum" (along with a compilation video of fans dancing to the track), "Who Dat," and "What Falling In Love Is For."
Fenn released his debut album with TH3RD BRAIN, Far From Here, which was accompanied by an NFT release of the album.
