Elderbrook is the stage name of Alexander Harry Kotz, an English electronic musician and DJ whose 2017 collaboration with CamelPhat, “Cola,” became his most prominent release. The track reached number one on Billboard’s US Dance Club Songs chart and the UK Indie Chart, and received a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

Born in London on 20 December 1992, Kotz began his recording career in 2015 with an EP featuring “How Many Times.” German duo Andhim later remixed the song, and Mixmag included it among its best songs of 2015. His early work placed his voice and songwriting within house and electronic production, a direction he developed through original releases, DJ work and remixes.

In 2016, Elderbrook collaborated with artists including Gorgon City and remixed material by performers such as Clean Bandit. His releases have also appeared through labels including Mine Recordings, Counter Records, Superfriends Records, Defected Records and Helix Records. Working across house, deep house, chillout and electronic music, he has built a catalogue that moves between club-focused tracks and more restrained electronic songwriting.
