Bedouin
Bedouin bring Middle Eastern heritage, Western upbringing and international experience into an electronic sound shaped by melody, rhythm and live musicianship. The United States-based production and DJ partnership consists of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe, who work as multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, songwriters and producers.
Known for music that moves between organic, tribal, melodic and deep house, the pair draw on Arab musical elements without limiting themselves to a single style. Their work has been released through Crosstown Rebels, All Day I Dream, Circoloco Records, Ultra and Sony, alongside music issued on their own Human by Default imprint.
Bedouin have also worked with Virgil Abloh, Rony Seikaly, Guy Gerber, Black Coffee and Guy Laliberté. Across DJ sets, productions and collaborations, Malki and Abousabe build tracks from an international set of reference points, pairing electronic club structures with vocals, instrumental detail and percussion-led rhythms.
