Alan Walker
Alan Walker is a record producer and DJ, originally from Northampton, England, born on August 24, 1997. He was raised in Bergen, Norway, where he has lived since he was 2 years old.
Although initially without a musical background, he taught himself music production by watching YouTube tutorials. In July 2012, with support and feedback from fans online, he began pursuing a music production career and started uploading his music to YouTube and SoundCloud.
His track "Fade" gained recognition after being released on YouTube through the label NCS. After signing with MER Musikk under Sony Music Sweden, Walker released his first official single "Faded," a refined vocal rendition of "Fade." The release of both the song and video garnered global attention, topping year-end charts in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden, as well as iTunes charts in 32 countries, and reaching the top 10 on the Spotify Global Chart.
On October 27, 2018, Walker released "All Falls Down," featuring American singer Noah Cyrus and British DJ and record producer Digital Farm Animals. This song marked the announcement of Walker's debut studio album, *Different World*, which was released in December 2018.
