Never Say Die Records
Never Say Die Records (NSD), commonly referred to as Never Say Die, was a British electronic music record label associated with bass music, particularly dubstep and trap. It became well-known for releases that reflected the harder-edged, club-focused side of electronic music, aligning its output with the sounds and production styles that defined modern bass-driven scenes.
The label served as a home for a roster of artists closely identified with contemporary dubstep and related bass genres. Among those connected to Never Say Die were Dodge & Fuski, Dr. Ozi, Eptic, Habstrakt, Kompany, Megalodon, LAXX, Spag Heddy, Must Die!, Trampa, and Zomboy. Taken together, these names illustrate the label’s emphasis on aggressive sound design, high-energy drops, and the crossover space between dubstep and trap.
Never Say Die’s identity was shaped less by a single signature act than by the consistency of its genre focus and the concentration of producers working in similar stylistic territory. By releasing records from artists spanning different corners of bass music, it functioned as a recognizable platform for dubstep and trap releases within British electronic music, while also reflecting the international reach of those styles through its affiliated artists.
