Disciple

Disciple Records, also known as Disciple and formerly Disciple Recordings, is a British-American independent electronic music label associated with bass music, particularly dubstep, riddim, and trap. Its identity is closely tied to heavy, sound-design-forward club music, and it is widely known for releases that sit within the modern bass and dubstep ecosystem.

The label’s roster history reflects that focus. Disciple has been home to artists including 12th Planet, Barely Alive, Dirtyphonics, Dodge & Fuski, Modestep, PhaseOne, and Virtual Riot, names that span dubstep’s festival-facing side as well as more technical and aggressive strains of bass music. Through these artists, Disciple has been linked with both the North American and European bass scenes, aligning British and American audiences around a shared sound palette of high-impact drops, intricate synthesis, and hybridized trap and dubstep production.
