Tycho

Tycho is the downtempo electronic project of Scott Hansen. Initially drawing heavy inspiration from the duo Boards of Canada, Tycho's music is characterized by warm, synth-laden yet acoustic, and melodic IDM.

Beginning as a solo endeavor, Scott Hansen released two studio albums as Tycho, Past is Prologue and the trilogy's first installment, Dive, both of which were generally well-received by fans and critics.

Zac Brown and Rory O'Connor later joined the project, forming a trio for Tycho's third and fourth projects, completing the trilogy with the releases of Awake and Epoch, each eventually receiving Deluxe editions.

With the release of Epoch (Deluxe Version), Hansen started preparing for his 2019 album Weather, marking the band's first vocal-led project with the addition of Saint Sinner.
