Shift K3Y

Lewis Shay Jankel, known professionally as Shift K3Y, is a British DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter from London. He first became widely known in the UK in 2014 with the single “Touch,” which reached number 3 on the UK Singles Chart. Another 2014 single, “I Know,” further established him as a crossover dance act who writes and performs his own material as well as producing it.

Working under several name variations, including Shift Key and Shiftk3y, Jankel’s output sits in house and UK dance, with an approach that places vocals and songwriting at the center of club-focused production. His profile spans both DJ-oriented releases and tracks built around his own singing, reflecting a role that moves between producer, performer, and writer rather than separating those functions.
