Night Bass Records
Night Bass was a monthly party before it was a label. AC Slater started it in Los Angeles in 2014, built around UK garage, grime and house, and the records came once the night had an audience of its own.
Slater has been careful not to call the catalogue one thing. He describes it as a blend of styles under a single name rather than a house label or a garage label, and the Freshmen compilations exist to bring in producers who haven't released anything yet.
