Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo moved from Disney television to pop stardom with a run of chart-topping lead singles from her first three studio albums. Born February 20, 2003, she began as a child actress in commercials and the 2015 direct-to-video film An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success. She later held leading roles on Disney Channel's Bizaardvark, which ran from 2016 to 2019, and Disney+'s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, where she appeared from 2019 to 2022.

Rodrigo signed with Geffen Records in 2020 and shifted her focus to music. Her debut album, Sour, arrived in 2021, topping the US Billboard 200 as well as nine other charts worldwide. Its singles “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U” both reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. In 2022, she was the subject of the documentary Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U.

Her second studio album, Guts (2023), produced the Hot 100 number-one single “Vampire.” Her third, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love (2026), followed with “Drop Dead,” making Rodrigo the first artist whose lead single from each of their first three albums debuted atop the chart. Her awards include three Grammy Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, and seven Billboard Music Awards. She was named Time's Entertainer of the Year in 2021, Billboard's Woman of the Year in 2022, and ASCAP's Pop Music Songwriter of the Year in 2022 and 2024.
