Folamour
Folamour is the stage name of Bruno Boumendil, a French DJ and producer whose sample-based four-on-the-floor tracks blend house grooves with disco textures. Based in Lyon, he has become associated with the recent revival of French house and disco production, while his work also draws on jazz, funk and lo-fi house.
His catalogue spans albums, EPs and remixes, with a sound built for movement: warm rhythmic loops, disco-informed details and direct house momentum. Folamour is also known for dynamic performances and versatile DJ sets in the underground house circuit.
Beyond his own releases, Boumendil founded FHUO Records and Touche Française, and co-founded Moonrise Hill Material. His label work places him on both sides of the music's release process, alongside a recording career that has connected his name with modern French house, disco house and funk-led club music.
