Chris Stussy
Chris Stussy is the stage name of Niels Christiaan Steenbergen, a Dutch DJ and producer born on 2 July 1994 in Leiderdorp, Netherlands. He has also used the name Chris Stassy, alongside earlier aliases including Niels Christian Steenbergen, Niels Steenbergen and Mr. Stone.
Working across house, tech house, deep house, techno and electronic music, Stussy has released material through his own Up the Stuss imprint as well as labels including Fuse London, Kaoz Theory, PIV and Rutilance Recordings. His output also includes releases connected with CSS, Warner Records and Steel City Dance Discs.
Among his tracks are “Pumpin’,” “Won’t Stop (Don’t),” “Breather,” “Wide Awake” and “Midtown Playground.” “Desire” is his best-known single. Earlier releases included work for New York label Nervous Records from 2016, while Up the Stuss was founded in 2020.
