Cheat Codes
Cheat Codes broke through in 2016 with “Sex,” a dance-pop single built around the chorus of Salt-N-Pepa’s “Let’s Talk About Sex.” The Los Angeles electronic trio followed it with “No Promises” in 2017, featuring Demi Lovato. The track reached the Top 40 in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.
The group consists of Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell and Kevin Ford, who also performs as KEVI and Prince$$ Rosie. Working across electronic music and pop, Cheat Codes have released music through labels including Warner Records, Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music. Their work pairs DJ-driven production with vocal collaborations, placing them in the crossover space between EDM, tropical house and radio-facing pop dance.
