Bicep
Bicep is the electronic production and DJ duo of Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar, both from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The pair knew each other from childhood and first worked together through Feel My Bicep, a blog devoted to rare and overlooked records spanning Italo disco, Chicago house and Detroit techno.
They adopted the blog's name as their performance moniker when they began playing out in 2009. During the 2010s, Bicep released music through labels including Throne of Blood, Traveller Records and Mystery Meat, before issuing their self-titled album in 2017. Their work draws on house, disco, techno and ambient electronic music.
