TOKiMONSTA

TOKiMONSTA, the Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Jennifer Lee, became the first female Asian-American producer nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category. The 2019 nomination recognized Lune Rouge, placing her work among that year’s leading electronic album releases.

Working across electronic music and hip-hop-informed production, TOKiMONSTA has collaborated with Anderson .Paak, EarthGang, Isaiah Rashad, Selah Sue, and ZHU. Her work also includes official remixes for artists including Beck, Duran Duran, Ólafur Arnalds, Disclosure, Sia, Odesza, and the theme from Squid Game. The range of those projects reflects a catalog that moves between beat-driven arrangements, instrumental textures, and vocal collaborations.

Born January 26, 1987, Lee records under the stylized name TOKiMONSTA and remains based in Los Angeles.
