The Offspring is a punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. The band currently consists of Brian Keith “Dexter” Holland (vocals, guitar), Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman (lead guitar), Todd Morse (bass), and Pete Parada (drums).
The Offspring is considered one of the leading punk rock acts, alongside Green Day, Rancid, and Sublime, all originating from California. The Offspring and these bands are credited with helping revive mainstream punk rock, though it isn't as popular as it was during the '80s.
