Maribou State
Maribou State are an English electronic music duo made up of producers Chris Davids and Liam Ivory. Signed to Counter Records, an imprint of the UK independent label Ninja Tune, they have built a catalogue that spans EP releases and full-length albums, alongside remix work for other artists.
The duo’s recorded output includes eight EPs and three studio albums. Their debut album, Portraits, was released in 2015, followed by Kingdoms in Colour in 2018. In 2025 they released their third studio album, Hallucinating Love. Alongside their own releases, Davids and Ivory have also produced remixes for artists including Alpines and Lana Del Rey.
Maribou State perform internationally. Their work is released through Counter Records, reflecting their long-running association with Ninja Tune’s wider roster of electronic and leftfield pop artists.
