Kidnap

Kidnap is a punk band from Blois, France, formed in 1977 under the name Acier before becoming Radiation and, later, Kidnap. The group’s early lineups featured Hugues on vocals, Chicol on guitar, Mireille and then Fabrice on bass, and Aldo on drums.

Frédo took over vocal duties during the Radiation period and remained frontman through much of Kidnap’s original run. From 1984, the band expanded with Fonfon on guitar, while Fabrice and Aldo continued on bass and drums. In 1989, Fonfon handled vocals and guitar before the group broke up. Since 2002, Kidnap has occasionally reunited for concerts with Frédo, Chicol, Fonfon, Fabrice and Aldo.
