Regarded as one of the most renowned DJs globally, celebrated for his relentless remixing and production efforts, and known for his long-standing collaboration with fellow leading DJ Sasha. He started DJing in the early 1990s alongside friends like Fabio and Grooverider, promoting the emerging progressive house sound, especially during his residency at Renaissance with Sasha. His collaboration with Nick Muir as Bedrock in the early '90s resulted in club hits like "For What You Dream Of" and "Set In Stone." The success of his Bedrock Records label was solidified with its debut release, "Heaven Scent," in late 1999. John continues to remix and produce music, manage the Bedrock Records label, and host a popular weekly radio show on KISS-100 FM in the UK.
