G-Eazy
Gerald Earl Gillum, known professionally as G-Eazy, is an American rapper from Oakland, California, whose major-label breakthrough arrived with 2014’s These Things Happen. He began his career in 2006 and self-released two studio albums before signing with RCA Records. These Things Happen, his third album and major-label debut, reached number three on the Billboard 200. Its single “I Mean It,” featuring Remo, became his first Billboard Hot 100 entry and received triple-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.
G-Eazy followed it with When It’s Dark Out in 2015 and The Beautiful & Damned in 2017, both of which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200. The lead single from When It’s Dark Out, “Me, Myself & I” with Bebe Rexha, entered the Billboard Hot 100’s top ten. “No Limit,” featuring Cardi B and ASAP Rocky, served as the lead single from The Beautiful & Damned and reached number four, remaining his highest-charting song on the Hot 100.
His sixth album, These Things Happen Too, was released in 2021 and peaked at number 19 on the Billboard 200. He later released Freak Show in 2024 and Helium in 2025; neither album charted in any territory.
