Tectonic is a British electronic music label founded and run by Rob Ellis, known as Pinch. Closely associated with dubstep and its related styles, it emerged as one of the early labels identified with the genre’s formative period, alongside Tempa, DMZ, Hyperdub, and Hotflush.

The label is widely linked to Bristol’s dubstep community, where it helped concentrate attention on the city’s sound and artists. At the same time, Tectonic became known for releases that connected dubstep’s bass-heavy foundations with the structures and pacing of techno, helping to articulate a shared space between the two.

Pinch’s own work sits at the center of the label’s identity, and Tectonic has also released music by artists such as Peverelist, Trim, Sectra, Lorem, Průvan, Mani Festo, and Beatrice M., reflecting its emphasis on dubstep’s evolution and its overlap with adjacent electronic forms.
