Lowly
Lowly started as the label attached to a YouTube network. Andre Benz set it up in 2016, first as Lowly Palace, to sign producers already getting plays on The Nations channels, Trap Nation among them, and the terms were the pitch: fifty-fifty splits and short licences rather than long contracts.
It began in electronic music and widened from there, taking in Said The Sky, INZO and Greyson Chance. Create Music Group bought a majority stake in both the channels and the label in April 2022.
