DreamVille
Dreamville Records is an American record label founded by rapper J. Cole and his manager Ibrahim Hamad. Closely associated with Cole’s own work, the label has developed a roster that centers on hip hop, pairing lyric-driven rap artists with an in-house production presence.
Dreamville’s artist lineup includes Bas, Cozz, Omen, Lute, JID, and EarthGang, alongside Cole himself. The label has also been connected to the wider Dreamville-affiliated circle of artists, including Ari Lennox and the Spillage Village collective, reflecting a collaborative approach that extends beyond a single act or sound. Its producer roster includes Elite, Ron Gilmore, and Cedric Brown, underscoring the role of dedicated production within the label’s identity.
In its business history, Dreamville previously operated under a distribution deal with Interscope Records, a unit of Universal Music Group. That distribution arrangement ended in July 2025.
