Shinedown
Shinedown is an American rock band originating from Jacksonville, Florida, established by vocalist Brent Smith in 2001 following the breakup of his former band, Dreve. Smith, under a contract with Atlantic Records, assembled the original lineup featuring Jasin Todd as guitarist, Brad Stewart on bass, and Barry Kerch on drums. While the lineup remained steady for the first two album cycles, several changes occurred in the late 2000s, eventually stabilizing with Smith and Kerch along with Zach Myers on guitar and Eric Bass on bass. Shinedown has sold over ten million records globally, holding the record for the most number one singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts with 16. The band has released seven studio albums: Leave a Whisper, Us and Them, The Sound of Madness, Amaryllis, Threat to Survival, Attention Attention, and Planet Zero.
