Known as Popof since his early days, Alexandre Paounov is a French DJ and electronic-music producer whose roots lie in the tekno scene and free-party culture. He has been an original member of the Heretik System collective since 1995.
Working across minimal techno, acid techno, tech house and electro, Popof has released music through labels including Filth on Acid, 1605, No Mercy, Arcane and Form Music.
