
Niia
Niia Bertino, known professionally as Niia, is an American singer, songwriter, and pianist born on July 11, 1988, in Needham, Massachusetts. She first appeared musically as a featured artist on Wyclef Jean’s 2007 single “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)” and later shared original songs and covers on SoundCloud. In 2014, she released an EP titled Generation Blue, and in 2016, she signed with Atlantic Records. Her debut album, I, came out in May 2017, featuring singles like “Last Night in Los Feliz,” “Hurt You First,” and “Sideline.” After leaving Atlantic in 2018, Niia independently produced her second album, II: La Bella Vita, which was released on February 14, 2020, and includes the singles “Face,” “Whatever You Want,” and the Mariah Carey-inspired “Obsession.”
