Niia
Niia Bertino, known professionally as Niia, made her recorded debut as a featured artist on Wyclef Jean’s 2007 single “Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill).” The Needham, Massachusetts-born singer, songwriter and pianist later shared original songs and covers through SoundCloud before releasing the Generation Blue EP in 2014.
Niia signed with Atlantic Records in 2016 and released her debut album, I, in 2017, preceded by “Last Night in Los Feliz,” “Hurt You First” and “Sideline.” After leaving Atlantic in 2018, she worked independently on her second album, II: La Bella Vita, which arrived in 2020 with singles including “Face,” “Whatever You Want” and “Obsession.” Her music moves between R&B, jazz, electronic music and pop.
