Manuel Tur
Manuel Tur is a German musician, DJ and label founder whose work blends deep house and funk, with occasional elements drawn from French house. Born in Essen in 1986, he has worked across house and electro while also releasing under several alternate names, including Arcade Mode, Blackbird, Jermaine Jones and Tweeq.
Alongside his solo productions, Tur has pursued collaborative projects in distinct formats. He formed Knabberbox with Patrick Alavi, and has also released as Manuel Tur & Dplay. His output sits between deep house, house, tech house and minimal techno, with funk remaining a recurring part of his musical approach.
