Jack Harlow
With his clever lyrical style and approachable sense of humor, Jack Harlow quickly rose to chart success buoyed by his charisma. Born on March 13, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky, Harlow launched his music career with his 2014 first official project titled *Finally Handsome*, followed by an EP in the subsequent year, which fueled his musical ambitions.
By 2016, he had accumulated around 250,000 views on YouTube. His 2017 project, *Gazebo*, received widespread acclaim from fans and celebrities, elevating his career. The song “Dark Knight,” the project's second release, was spotlighted on Worldstar Hip-Hop's front page and exceeded 1,000,000 views on YouTube. The track received endorsements from both Peter Rosenberg and fellow Louisville artist Bryson Tiller.
Harlow is now linked with DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s Generation Now label. In 2018, he dropped *Loose*, his fourth official project and his initial major release since signing with Generation Now and Atlantic Records. It showcased his rising popularity by featuring the contributions from rap veteran CyHi The Prynce and past XXL Freshman K Camp. That same year, Harlow performed at Genius' IQ/BBQ event. He was later included in the 2020 XXL Freshman list.
In 2020, Harlow made his big break into the mainstream with his hit single “WHATS POPPIN,” a track filled with wordplay and pop culture references, supported by a Cole Bennett-directed video on Lyrical Lemonade. The track soared to new levels with a remix featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, eventually reaching #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song became the lead single from his debut album, *Thats What They All Say*, which hit #5 on the Billboard 200 chart, gained Platinum status from the RIAA, and produced the Platinum track “Tyler Herro” and the Gold single “Way Out” featuring Big Sean, peaking at #34 and #74 on the Hot 100, respectively.
As Harlow geared up for his second album, *Come Home The Kids Miss You*, his success continued to rise. He featured on Lil Nas X’s hit “Industry Baby,” achieving his first #1 single on the Hot 100 and earning a 4x Platinum certification from the RIAA. The excitement around this collaboration propelled Harlow's profile, evident in the first two singles of his second album: “Nail Tech” and “First Class.” The former reached #18, while the latter quickly became a hit, marking Harlow's second #1 single and his first to debut at the top.
