ATFC

ATFC is the stage name of Aydin Hasirci, a British house DJ and producer whose alias is commonly expanded as “Aydin The Funki Chile.” Working in styles that include funky house, disco house, house, and tech house, he has also released music and appeared under a wide range of related names, including variations on ATFC as well as projects such as OnePhatDeeva, Chroma, and The Vermicious Knids.

Hasirci’s best-known early release is “In and Out of My Life,” described as built around Fatboy Slim’s “Right Here, Right Now” with added vocals. According to Discogs, the track reached number 11 on the UK pop charts in 1999 and led to an appearance on Top of the Pops. Discogs also notes that a follow-up single, “Bad Habit,” later entered the UK Top 20.

Before returning to London, Hasirci was active in Bournemouth’s local dance music circuit. Discogs reports that he completed a degree at Bournemouth University and then worked at the Bournemouth-based dance music radio station The NRG, which was later renamed The Fire. He also DJed at the Bump ’N’ Hustle nights and held a residency at the Gardening Club, a now-closed venue near Bournemouth railway station.

In addition to his performance work, Discogs credits Hasirci with operating a sound production company under the name Onephatdeeva Productions. His recording output has been associated with labels including Defected Records and Blockhead Recordings, aligning with the club-focused house sound for which he is primarily known.
