Clone Royal Oak
Royal Oak is the house arm of Clone. Serge Verschuur had been running the Rotterdam label since 1993 when he briefly shut it in 2009, and what came back was split into imprints, Royal Oak among them, so a buyer could tell from the label which kind of Clone record they were holding.
Royal Oak got house, and it's mostly stayed with a nineties lineage of it, deep and vocal-leaning about as often as it's functional. Leon Vynehall's early records came out here, as did work from Gerd and Space Dimension Controller.
