Rocco
Rocco is the long-running dance project fronted by Sven Gruhnwald, a DJ and producer from Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Originally, the name represented a collaboration between German producers and DJs Bass-T, Pulsedriver and Sven-R-G. Gruhnwald was the public face of the project and now operates Rocco alone.
Working across hard trance, Eurodance and hands-up, Gruhnwald became known both through his solo work and as one half of the duo Rocco & Bass-T. His catalog also includes releases under the names Sven-R-G, Roco, Martial Hard, Pussyjuice and Airwalk3r. Rocco’s work sits in the high-energy end of European dance music, drawing on trance, techno, house and pop-oriented electronic styles.
