Jungle
Jungle are a British band formed in 2013 by London-based producers Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. The group first came to wider notice with their self-titled debut album, Jungle (2014), which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.
Jungle’s recorded output has been structured around a series of studio albums. After Jungle, they released For Ever in 2018, followed by Loving in Stereo in 2021 and Volcano in 2023. Their first two albums were issued through XL Recordings, before the band moved their later releases to their own independent label, Caiola Records.
The band’s lineup also evolved as their work expanded. Lydia Kitto, who had been the main musical contributor on Loving in Stereo and Volcano and a key performing member of Jungle’s live group, became a permanent member in 2023.
