El Train

Brighton native Luke Nyeke, known as El. Train, is celebrated for his skill in fusing Hip-Hop, R&B, and Electronic beats with a strong influence from the US West Coast beats scene. Whether remixing, producing for other artists, or working on his own releases, he consistently infuses his unique sound.

Over recent years, he has released music on labels such as Laruche Records, Darker Than Wax, and Jakarta Records, alongside a collaborative EP 'Over & Over' with singer Miki Rose on his own label, Shimmy Records. He has also remixed works by Ivy Lab, J-Felix, and Sinead Harnett.

His collaboration with singer Rubee Rayne has garnered critical acclaim, being highlighted by BBC Radio 1Xtra as their 'Introducing Track Of The Week' and released by Mercedes Benz as part of their 'Mixed Tape' series. He has earned support from Radio 1Xtra, Complexion (Radio Westside), Rinse FM, NTS, Reprezent Radio, Soulection Radio, among others. His latest single 'Feels Like' is a preview of his upcoming project, receiving support from Mistajam (1Xtra) and BBC Introducing.

In 2015, he was selected by Four Tet and other judges as the representative for the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival Bassxchange, which provided him the chance to DJ in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa.

As a DJ, he is known for his diverse sets and has been invited to perform at Glastonbury, Wildlife, and many other festivals in recent years. He has supported acts such as Snakehips, Bondax, MSSINGNO, and Mr Carmack on various shows across Europe and South Africa.
