The Veer Union are a Vancouver, British Columbia alternative metal band whose catalog spans hard rock, modern rock and post-grunge. The group has been led by members Crispin Earl and Eric Schraeder, and its releases have moved from early full-length albums into a multi-part retrospective project, acoustic material, demos, rarities and later collaborative recordings.

The band released Time to Break the Spell in 2006, followed by Against the Grain in 2009 and Divide the Blackened Sky in 2012. In 2013, The Veer Union issued the EP Life Support Part 1. Their fourth studio album, Decade, arrived on January 29, 2016. The title later became the basis for two companion releases: Decade II: Rock & Acoustic and Decade III: Demos & Rarities, both released on August 31, 2018. The former revisited the band’s material in rock and acoustic settings, while the latter collected demos and rarities.

After the Decade releases, The Veer Union issued Quarantine Collaborations on December 17, 2021, then released Manifestations on December 16, 2022. Their next album, Reinvention, was announced for February 20, 2026 through Arising Empire Records. The record was set to feature Glen Clarke, identified as the band’s newest member, on bass guitar and scream vocals. Ahead of the album, The Veer Union made the single and video “My Empire” available through their website and YouTube channel.
