The Veer Union is a Canadian alternative metal band from Vancouver, British Columbia. The group is also known as Veer and has been associated with post-grunge. Its lineup has included Crispin Earl and Eric Schraeder, and it later added Glen Clarke on bass guitar and scream vocals.

The band’s recorded output began with the studio album Time to Break the Spell (2006), followed by Against the Grain (2009) and Divide the Blackened Sky (2012). In 2013, The Veer Union released the EP Life Support Part 1. The band’s fourth studio album, Decade, arrived on January 29, 2016, and was followed by two related releases on August 31, 2018: Decade II: Rock & Acoustic and Decade III: Demos & Rarities, which expanded the project into acoustic material and archival recordings.

In the 2020s, The Veer Union continued releasing full-length projects, issuing Quarantine Collaborations on December 17, 2021, and Manifestations on December 16, 2022. The band has announced an album titled Reinvention, described as featuring the newest member, Glen Clarke, and slated for release on February 20, 2026, on the record label Arising Empire Records. A single and video titled “My Empire” has also been made available via the band’s website and YouTube channel.
