Mr. Belt & Wezol
Mr. Belt & Wezol are the Dutch electronic music duo of DJ Bart Riem and DJ and producer Sam van Wees. Their 2015 tracks “Finally” and “Somebody to Love” both spent several weeks in Beatport’s top 10, bringing the pair wider recognition in the dance-music world.
Their work sits in house and future house, with releases associated with Spinnin’ Records as well as Sony Music Entertainment, New State Music, LabelWorx and their own The Cuckoo’s Nest imprint. In 2016, Mr. Belt & Wezol received the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award at the 31st Annual International Dance Music Awards.
Alongside their recorded output, the duo have presented The Cuckoo’s Nest events, including club shows and longer DJ sets. They have also performed at festivals including Tomorrowland and Wish Outdoor Mexico.
