Monte

Monte is the stage name of David Paulicke, a deep house artist from Hamburg, Germany. He began his professional music career in 1998 in Hamburg, working as a staff producer at Studio 33.

In addition to his work as a producer, Paulicke is also active as a mix engineer. He is the owner of Trigonomics, a role that reflects his involvement in the technical and production side of recorded music as well as artist-facing work under the Monte name.

Paulicke has also been credited under his own name, David Paulicke. Monte’s releases have appeared on labels including Soundcolours, aligning his output with the deep house tradition associated with German club and studio production.
