Bush
Bush, a band from London, England, was established in 1992.
In 1994, they released their debut album, Sixteen Stone, which gained immediate success and has since been certified 6x multi-platinum.
Bush has frequently appeared on the Billboard mainstream rock charts, hitting #1 with their second album, Razorblade Suitcase, in 1996.
The band disbanded in 2002, and vocalist Gavin Rossdale formed a new band, Institute, in 2004. After Institute did not achieve commercial success, Rossdale pursued a solo career.
The band reformed in 2010 with new members Chris Traynor and Corey Britz, replacing Nigel Pulsford and Dave Parsons. They announced their new album, The Sea of Memories (previously titled Everything Always Now), and debuted their first single, “Afterlife,” at the 2010 Epicenter Music Festival in Fontana, California. The album was released on September 13, 2011, and reached #18 on the Billboard 200.
Their sixth studio album, Man On the Run, was released on October 21, 2014, led by the single “The Only Way Out.”
Before releasing their seventh album, Bush released the lead single “Mad Love.” Black and White Rainbows was released on March 10, 2017, and peaked at #8 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums.
In May 2019, Bush titled their eighth studio album The Mind Plays Trick on You, but later changed it to The Kingdom on March 3, 2020, following the release of their single “Flowers on a Grave.”
