Text Records

Artists:Fred again.., Brian Eno, Four Tet, Texting·14 releases tracked ·Latest: Human Voice

Founded in 1999 by Kieran Hebden, Text Records is the British independent label closely tied to his work as Four Tet. It has served as a home for much of Hebden's own music, including Four Tet albums and singles, as well as releases made with collaborators Burial and Thom Yorke.

The label's catalogue also reaches back to Hebden's band Fridge, which released two albums through Text. Beyond its founder's output, Text has issued recordings by Daphni, Koushik and One Little Plane, placing electronic music, songwriting and left-field pop within the same independent framework.
