SideOneDummy Records
SideOneDummy Records began in 1995 as Bill Armstrong and Joe Sib's outlet for releasing music by their friends' bands. Based in Los Angeles, the independent label grew from that punk-rooted starting point into a home for punk and adjacent sounds, with a catalogue shaped by the energy and directness of underground rock.
The label helped launch the careers of The Gaslight Anthem, AJJ, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello and Title Fight, artists whose work reflects the range within SideOneDummy's orbit, from folk-punk and street-punk to punk rock with broader rock and international influences. Its more recent roster includes PÆRISH, Public Opinion, Pretty Rude, Carpool, Big D and the Kids Table, Summerbruise, worlds greatest dad and Kerosene Heights.
Since 1998, SideOneDummy has released the annual Warped Tour compilation, collecting music from artists playing that year's tour. The series tied the label closely to a major meeting point for punk, alternative and DIY-minded bands. SideOneDummy also maintains a substantial YouTube presence featuring its current artists, with 116,000 subscribers and 170,015,900 views as of February 27, 2025.
