RAM Records
RAM Records is an independent record label specialising in drum and bass. It was established in 1992 by Andy C with the help of his friend Ant Miles, and it has remained closely associated with Andy C’s leadership. The label’s identity is rooted in the drum and bass tradition, with a focus on the genre’s club-oriented sound and culture.
Since its founding, RAM Records has operated as a platform for drum and bass releases under its own imprint. Andy C runs the label and business with business partner Scott Bourne, also known as Red One. The label’s visual identity has included a logo designed by Damon Kroonsberg.
Across its catalogue, RAM Records has issued music by a range of artists connected to its drum and bass focus, including Runs and Rants, Emmanuel RAM, Dijlmans, Bryan.vbst, Ash Aromaz, El Ramiron, Cloud7, and Robert Lynn Brown.
