As Drum and Bass began to evolve around 2007, with modulation and Jump Up gaining popularity once more, Hype and Pascal believed that True Playaz had developed too much of a reputation as a Jungle/Dance Floor Drum and Bass label, prompting them to establish Playaz Recordings.
