PIV Records
Founded in 2015, PIV Records is a UK label and event organisation rooted in the classic US house traditions of 1980s and 1990s New York and Chicago. Its name, People Invited, also reads as “VIP” backwards, reflecting an emphasis on inclusive club spaces.
The label provides a platform for house producers including Retrouve, Chesster, Ruze, Michel De Hey and Kolter. Its founders draw on Dutch and Indonesian heritage in the label’s visual identity, with that blend carried through its artwork, merchandise and events.
