PC Music
PC Music is a London-based record label and art collective run by producer A. G. Cook. Founded in 2013, it first emerged by uploading releases to SoundCloud that year, presenting itself as both a label and a broader visual and conceptual project rather than a conventional imprint.
The collective became closely associated with a roster of artists that helped define its identity, including Hannah Diamond, GFOTY, Danny L Harle, Finn Keane, Namasenda, and Planet 1999. Across these releases, PC Music operated as a platform for producer-led pop experimentation and tightly curated aesthetics, with Cook’s role as organizer and producer central to how the label’s sound and presentation were understood. The label has also been referred to as Personal Computer Music.
PC Music’s output has been documented through a series of label compilations: PC Music Volume 1 (2015), Volume 2 (2016), and Volume 3 (2022). These collections served as snapshots of the label’s evolving roster and approach, bringing together key tracks and highlighting the collective nature of the project.
By 2024, PC Music had shifted away from functioning as an active outlet for new releases. According to available summaries, the label exclusively focuses on archival projects and special reissues and is no longer actively releasing new music.
