Let There Be House Records grew out of a weekly podcast created by Glen Horsborough, developing from a broadcast platform into a label focused on “upfront and uplifting” house music. The project’s identity has been closely tied to community-building around house culture, with the Let There Be House name used across its releases and online presence.

According to the label’s own account, Let There Be House became a recognised company in 2016 and launched its record label the same year. From the outset, its output has centred on contemporary house, drawing on a network of producers and remixers associated with modern, club-facing styles. The label’s stated ethos is to deliver uplifting house records, reflecting its origins as a regular show built around new music and DJ-friendly selections.

Its catalogue has included work connected to a range of house artists and producers, including Sebb Junior, Angelo Ferreri, Mattei & Omich, Ben Delay, Peter Brown, and Richard Earnshaw. The label has also released music by artists such as DJ Rae, Martin Badder, Peverell, Junior Sanchez, DJ Spen, TANYA TANYA, Yan Vargas, and Davos, illustrating a roster that spans vocal house and more groove-driven, DJ-oriented material.

In 2019, the Angelo Ferreri remix of Peter Brown’s “I’m Gonna Hold On” was described by the label as its first number one in House, holding the top position for more than two weeks. The Let There Be House brand has also extended into event and performance contexts; it has cited an appearance on the Beach Stage at the Defected Croatia Festival as a highlight for the wider project.

Let There Be House later expanded its activities by launching a second imprint, In It Together Records, positioned as musically more diverse. Releases on that label have included artists such as DJ Queen B, Rhythm Staircase, ROOG, and Used Disco. Let There Be House Records continues to present itself as a house-focused outlet linked to the Let There Be House platform and its associated channels, with further information hosted at ltbh.co.uk.
